Anyone have any experience with Vintage Exports or Bulletwala?   Why don't these guys answer e-mails about thier product?
Is EVERYONE associated with Royal Enfields completely out to lunch?  I can't get a simple stinky tool from ANYwhere and my bike keeps sitting and I'm so freaking mad I could chew nails and spit tacks.

I have used both, no issues...     ;)   Just buy the tool and it will show up in a week or 3...

These guys are good, gotta be patient on shipping. They all wrap too well, ten layers of tape and cloth and you must sign to receive, never had to email them though.

Well, your link doesn't work, but yes.  I ordered one.
The one from Hitcocks still hasn't arrived over a month later.  I guess I should call my credit card compnay.  Watch it show up the same time the one from India comes...

I'm very afraid this tool won't work, either.  The magneto is really stuck on there for some reason.

Thank you Mr Garbone.  I had not.
If anyone calls me, it's a crap shoot if I get a message.  My room mat insists on turning the ringer on the phone off.  However, I'm sure I had my order into Hitcocks before Nfield Gear allegedly called, anyway.

Rosie in the sidecar.  Good times.  Via con dios my little girlfriend.  I hope to see you again.

Well, I posted Rosie in the wrong thread.  It was supposed to go in the one you linked to.  Oh well.  Doesn't matter, really.

I have bought from Bulletwala and Vintage Exports both multiple times.  No problems.  As someone else said, their packages are very well put together and padded.  Expect a 2-3 week delivery time, though, so bear that in mind.

Good luck but tools seem to be dependent on the cosmic alignment/quality of employees. Over a year ago I ordered(paid for up front) the super pooper tool kit from CMW and the "clutch center puller part was back ordered. OK it happens..  After a few months I emailed CMW and basically got a reply "Hey not my Dept but I'll pass on your email to who you should be talking too.
Never ever heard another word that was last year May 2010. It's June 2011 now and not a peep from CMW. My next order will most assuredly be from one of the India vendors. Ok 2-3 weeks mailing time will be tough but it'll still beat my experience with CMW.
Not saying you shouldn't order from CMW but if you have to pay in advance MAKE SURE the item is in stock.

CMW / NField Gear can't read e-mail.  You have to CALL THEM.

Not just CMW, though.  I have noticed that very few companies actually answer e-mail.
One in the last year for me.

I found that even in work, people didn't answer emails, voice mails..You had to pin them down with a call at their desk if they weren't at a meeting, in training, out sick or on vacation...Good luck on your order..
