After a year of scanning ads for a Bullet I found a 2016 about 1 mile down the road.  It only had 1300 miles, but looked filthy.  It had suffered from sitting in a not so nice garage for the past 8 years.  It was suffering from neglect, but I could tell I could bring it back to nice condition.

I spent 3 days cleaning the bike, performed a service, and corrected some errors made by the original owner.

Here is how it looks today.  I am enjoying it very much.

Nice save!  It's great to get an abandoned bike back on the road.

Really beautiful, congratulations.
Caution: the speedometer cable takes a twisted path, it is bound to break soon.

For $123 US dollars I couldn't resist the Pegasus bags (eBay).  They come with the frames that are easily modified to mount on the Bullet.   The quality of the bags is amazing especially when considering the price.

The tires were weather checked and needed replacement even though they only had 1300 miles.  The bike has new Heidenau K44 front, K34 rear.

I also splurged on a RE Touring seat.

Wow, how about a before pic?  You need to post about how you shined up that chrome and the engine casings!  Nice job!
