Its come up before that Bullet -65 shocks are good for the money.I don't no personally cause I have factory oil shocks.

Coming up on my one year anniversary and just did a 6500 mile service.
I've been using the hagons for a pretty long time.  As Mr Cafe mentioned, they are "performance" oriented, which means keep the tire on the road before comfort.   Sometimes I could use a little more cush. but mostly I like them.

I'd like to go to the parts library and check a pair of gas shocks out for 2 weeks, but our library only has books.
