Hi everyone,
Just joined, 1st question so take it easy on me if this has been asked before.

I have a 2017 Classic 500 EFi and was interested in changing the muffler for a short megaphone. Link below.
I've called the company to find out if a command unit is needed. ( Although I would like to avoid fitting one of these through cost and technical numptyness!)
Muffler company said that they didn't think a command unit is required.
Any advice would be most welcome. Cheers in advance.

SOMEWHERE on YouTube there is a video of someone in the UK who fitted something very similar to an earlier Euro 3 EFI Bullet, and he claimed that the ECU simply adjusted to the new exhaust with no extra ECU-overriding gubbins needed.
