Hi there,

I have a new Classic 500 Stealth, I have put about 2500 KM on it here in Brunei. I find it will chug or surge in second gear through most of its range unless I goose the gas. It has also started to stall or hesitate on acceleration unless I goose it as well. I checked the stock plugs, they seem normal also re-gapped them and checked and adjusted the clutch cable assembly.

It went away or reduced for a bit but now its back......

Welcome to the forums!

MIL codes can be your friend and a good place to start.

Then check all the connectors on, and from the ECU to everything else and verify good connections.
Check that the small black ground wire at the Negative terminal of the battery hasn't broken. It will often break inside the insulation and not be immediately apparent.

No Mil codes, I will check the battery and re-gap the plugs and take her for a ride later this week.

I do have a metalworks exhaust, I may need the air injection delete kit.....
