Looks like the 650 engine to me.  Could a C6.5 be in the works? Let us pray.

More made up fake so called "jouralism" from India. They've just made up some thing from a few images. For all they know its a one off custom built by the owner. Did they go interview him?

I could just as easy post a photo of a Bugatti model 100 and run a story claiming it "could be" a new Scaled Composites model.

I don't know.  The blacked out engine and the razzle-dazzle paint schemes sure look deliberate in their attempt to fool the eye as to the aesthetics of the bikes. At least the bike without the crash bars has a new 650 twin engine, even though it appears to have a two into one exhaust fitted.  A new Classic does make sense. All the hard work was already done with the Interceptor and Continental GT.  You just need to dress it a bit differently. Picture a Royal Enfield 1960's Bonneville inspired design.  A Modern Classic. I think there's definitely a market for it. The engine itself is the only real drawback for the 500.  I love my C5.  The Classic looks fantastic, but it's relatively slow and vibey. Kick it up to a smooth running 650 twin with real world performance and you have a real winner with broad appeal. I'd find the money for one. Why wouldn't RE consider it? Very little gamble there in my opinion.

I saw a video of that encounter. Supposedly this is a mule for the new 350 Meteor.

Unfortunately you arent allowed to swap the engine out in India in a custom build.
