1964 Triumph Mountain Cub
Add New Note
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: Not to neglect Triumph.  The 199cc T20 Triumph Mountain Cub is my most favorite of all Triumphs.
In 1959 Roy Peplow riding a 199cc Triumph Tiger Cub won the Scottish Six Days Trial (First time a small capacity motorcycle ever won the SSDT).  The T20 Sport with 9:1 compression ratio put out a clamed 14.5bhp @ 6500rpm and a clamed top speed of 74 mph.  I believe The Mountain Cub was Launched in 1957 and was discontinued in 1968.  I just love the Triumph Tiger Mountain Cub.  They always put a smile on my face.
