Does anyone have a factory seat they want rid of? I wanted to cut one up for a project so it wouldn't need good upholstery.

ha, so you are wanting to be able to slide back a bit more? yea me too.. and I hit the uprise..

Yep, I've got one. Make me an offer and pay for shipping and it's yours. I even have a nifty box available to ship it in as my new black 4 into 1 header just arrived for my 750 SuperSport project. Do you need the rear grab rail as well? PM me to set it up.

I've got a new flat line dual seat from an Electra. Easy to slide around on it.

I have one too, but WHOA! What's the project????? : >

I had the hump taken off the back of my stock seat at the upholstery shop. It cost $60 and looks great. Has a more vintage look and is much sleeker. My wife doesnt think much of it though........Dew.

I've got a stock factory seat off of a "95", perfect for chopping up. Free to a good home, just pay shipping.

I have seen this done with very good result. Just make sure you know what you want BEFORE you start cutting. I have seen it done with an electric knife and a hadn held hack saw blade. I have also seen the final shaping being done with a steel coffee can lid which has nail holes in it. and acted like a cheese grater. The holes produced "bumps" on one side of the coffee can lid which were used to "sand" the foam off. The lid was curved to fit in the mans hand. It was crude but VERY effective. Good luck
