Title: What do the new bikes really look like?
Post by: UncleErnie on April 21, 2009, 04:35:48 pm
I find only 2 pictures on this site?  One is too dark to even make out what it is.  I've seen pictures in magazines of these bikes, but they look a lot different from the bike I can make out on this site.  Doesn anyone have any links so I can get qa good look?

This may help you.  I had the same question
The upsweep exhaust system is aftermarket.  The stock C5 has an exhaust like the AVL, Classic and Military.  Everything else is standard.

I have a question does the C5 come looking like all the photos I see, like in the link I added? Or are these addons

Thank you

I saw one today at UK Motorsports in Oakdale, and they are absolutely gorgeous.

Forgot to ask;  C5 and G5- what's the difference?

The C5  classic model has the sprung solo saddle / with or without a separate pillion pad , It also comes with a headlamp peak as standard.
It has different rocker boxes, they are more smooth and rounded, this model also has slightly wider outer cases, giving a more bulbous appearance and NO kickstarter - the hole in the [different] right hand casing has not been machined out.
It also comes with smaller (18") wheels.  The side toolboxes are the familiar triangular shapes. it also comes with an extra lockable left side panel that's oval in shape - to assist partially obscure the fuel injection unit.

I saw the black one today - beautiful . shame the gear lever is on the opposite side to the original classic >:(

oops forgot the obvious difference - the classic's barrel is painted black, not silver
