I saw this at the NYC bike show last Sunday and though it was pretty cool so here it is.9fingers
That is absoultely stunning! If they made a street legal version I would be seriously interested! That could be the basis of Scrambler as well.
An ugly duckling transformed into a swan! First class job! Is that an "official" Royal Enfield build or done by an independent shop?Bob
I found this in a previous thread. Answers my question.https://www.dealernews.com/Home/post/royal-enfield-x-s-s-cycle-presented-by-moto-anatomy-himalayan-flat-track-experience-at-aimexpo-2019/2019-09-28
With S&S doing the mods I am guessing they also threw in some engine mods......maybe a 500cc kit or some cam/valves/piston work. If I knew I could get 35 or thereabouts HP out of a Himalayan, without breaking the bank (who wants to spend $2 grand for some extra power on a $4,800 bike?) I would buy one of these in a heartbeat. I LIKE the looks of the stock Himalayan!9fingers
Hitchcocks is offering a 462 big bore kit, but looks like it only gets you an additional 3 hp. About 24 hp total on the dyno. Not worth it in my estimation.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BS5zblBhu8
That is a pretty impressive increase in m book! And with the stock exhaust.9fingers
In a bike like the Himalyan, how much HP, approx, is lost getting to the rear wheel? And how much does that big bore kit cost? I have not been home to check HC and have to run out now.........work........sigh.9fingers
