It's been a while since a 500cc V-4 was offered up to the general population...VF500, 500 Magna...?

Nice lines and detail to that bike! I think there is some inspiration taken from Indian's mid size offerings. It doesn't take much to out run the 883 Sportster I think a well sorted Schwinn ten speed could it :D That 500 V4 should leave it in the dust. I had an early Honda VFR V4 700cc Interceptor, considered a sport bike at the time that bike moved right along.

Rideapart says 240 KG, so maybe about 540 pounds? It's in Kruzer garb, so that'll add tonnage/"road hugging weight". Look at the Shotgun vs. the Interceptor. Unlikely that V4 will stay confined to a cruiser chassis. Aluminum chassis, light wheels, everything else plastic or carbon fiber, you could likely have a bargain basement 400-440 pound, 60 HP sportbike emerge from this chrysalis. We'll need to see Benda file "Intent to sell" docs for the USA first. Hyosung is also returning here from Korea, their hardware is already pretty polished for the money. It'd be a hard slog for Benda, but a V-4 at full chat sounds reeel purdy...

More specifically, the engine is a 496cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injection V4 with a maximum power output of 56.3 horsepower and 31.5 ft-lbs of torque. It sends the power to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual transmission. While the performance numbers may seem pretty impressive, don't expect the BD500 Black Flag to be particularly fast, as it tips the scales at a whopping 241 kilograms.

Bikes don’t get much longer: Benda LFC 700 is almost as stretched as BMW R18

Benda seems to be restricted to Spain. The website obliquely refers to the 500, 700 & 1200 machines but doesn't show them as current production.
