LATEST NEWS FROM THE LAND DOWN UNDER!

Kleenex to the rescue: Toilet paper brand reassures customers that their mill is working 'around the clock' to produce more rolls after a massive run on stock following coronavirus panic buying

So there will be a new supply after all.

Hard to believe really- while most of the world chases face masks - We chase S/it house paper ::) this complete isle of the good stuff wiped out in my hometown just this afternoon - one complete isle! Any idea how much paper blew out the door ;D

On a more serious note Australia is fast running out of the good old toilet paper and at the moment it's more a buyers frenzy here. it's actually pretty hard to get the wipe outs and as of late today the local stores are virtually running on empty or just plain wiped out.! I may have to forget about another bike or the add on accessories too and just chase down a quick carton of the illusive 2/4 ply golden glory.
Never witnessed anything like this before. If I had stock piled the heavy stuff a few weeks earlier -today I would be on what others would call here-ona roll! ;D

My dad grew up on a small farm in the Missouri Ozarks.  He said that they could never afford TP and instead used corn cobs while doing their business in the outhouse.   :o

Here in the hand-wringing SF Bay Area, Costco big-box stores have had hundreds of people lining up before their doors open and some people having to park a half mile away before getting into the conga line to get into the store and buying bottled water and disinfectant wipes.  The stores keep getting cleaned out every day for the past week. And don't ask me why there has been a run of bottled water. I have no idea. ::)  The tap water here is as clean and pure as any in the World.  Likely better than what comes out of plastic bottles.  ::)

Nice! What are you using for a microphone? I'm still trying to figure that out on my videos. I get a lot of pops and crackling using a Rode lavalier with a "dead cat" into my GoPro Hero 7.

Sometimes cheaper is better ;D A few years back I bought some lock picks and a special transparent lock for learning the art. I could open most locks almost as fast as they do in the movies but one $5 Chinese imitation of a Master lock was un pickable ??? I could probably break it with a hammer but there was no picking it. ::)

if I told you how many thousands of $$$ ive spent on cameras in the past 3 years I bet I could easily buy a new interceptor for nothing-sony/Panasonic/canon/gopro's etc. had the lot!
if you look at all my clips including my last couple with the windscreen mount test - they were all shot with this AU$150 camera I bought it 4 years ago and $30 for the 2 mike package
that very cheap gopro style adventure camera has excellent image and stabilizer and shoots 1080p and that's good enough and does the job well

The same ones I have! I put them on the original paint. When I got the bike painted I bought another set in case these didn't come off cleanly. I even bought the same 3M double stick tape they have in case they were reusable. Turns out they were! So I have a spare set. I thought I might put them on the Speedmaster but I never touch the tiny tank and they wouldn't show much on a black tank anyway.
