Drive?!?  I've got the ok from the wife for a whole day of motorcycling and neglecting my family duties!  No way I'm driving!

Flyer looks good.

If my Google map and calculations are correct.

 Tentatively
Kickstands up VINCE's or thereabouts at 7:45 - link up Br. D.S. in Shelton, Bremerton by 8:45- catch the 9:15 Seattle ferry (fare is $5.65) arrive at the Nick about 11:00

Vince's opens at 10:00 so a nearby coffee stand may have to do.

Any who want to come along are welcome to.

Wow, I'd have to have to leave early to make that schedule.  Maybe I'll shoot I5 up and take the coast road on the way back instead.  Then I can leave around 6 instead of around 3.

I'm in too.  See you all there and then.  I can't promise I'll be on my RE.  I am having a bit too much fun on my dualsport lately.  :-[ I do still dearly love my RE though and this will be good impetus to replace my front brake shoes prior to May 19th.  I have all the parts and tools I need...finally.  See you all soon!

From Vince's to the Nick.

Straight up the 5 is is 1 hour and 15 minutes ride non stop. ( not Iron Barrel friendly)

The inland route avoiding freeways is 2 hours and and 30 minutes not including gas or coffee or rider stops. My guesstimate is more like three hours.

The west of the sound route/coast road is 2 hours and 56 not including boarding and debarkation time at the ferry docks or coffee and rider stops.
My guesstimate is 3 hours and a half.

No plan set in stone just yet.

Let me know if you are meeting up at the store. I would open early and make coffee for you.

Ice,

How's this for a plan?  I'll take 5 up and meet you at Vince's (especially if he's kind enough to open early).  Then we can all head up and to the ferry and the Nick.  Then I'll ditch you for the ride home: 5S to Olympia and then head to the coast for my scenic ride.

What time do things usually break up?  Just trying to figure out what time I'll be heading home.

Another option is 5N to Vince's, the shorter inland route to the get together. That way you get a few extra winks.

11:00-11:15 is when a few early birds show. Doors open at 11:30. Of course folks can come and go as they please but it seems like the majority of us are there are there from 12:30 to 3:00 with things wrapping up by 5:00-ish

Thanks Vince ! I like that Idea.
