Took it for a wee run over the Lowther Hills (A702) and back (B797). The roads were mostly wet but it was still enjoyable. Unfortunately the bike could now be doing with a wash, this will be it's first wash since new, 337 days and 2900 miles ago.

Sears has it.

Sweet!  Ok guys who know more than I, how does inch/lbs, compare to foot/lbs?  Will this do what I need it to?

1 ft-lbs = 12 in-lbs

FJ
The 245 lb/in max torque of that 1/4" drive wrench will give a torque of 20.4 lb/ft which is more than enough for doing a oil change.

The only fly in the ointment is, the large sockets needed for the main oil drain and the forward oil drain under the crankshaft almost always have a 3/8" drive.

For just a few bucks you can buy an adapter so the 1/4" drive wrench will work with 3/8" drive sockets.

There are higher priced sets of these intended for use with an impact wrench but for what your doing, these are more than good enough.

While I'm here, this is HF's 1/4" drive torque wrench.
Although its max torque is 200 inch pounds that still gives a torque max of about 17 foot pounds which is more than the drain plug needs.

PS:  There is nothing wrong with the bar type torque wrenches and they are cheaper than the "click" style but for use on draining the oil they would be a total pain in the ass.
You have to see the scale where the pointer is showing the torque and with the wrench being under the bottom of the motorcycle you would have to figure out a way of seeing the scale.

I think ultimately I have been confusing the whole inch pound thing. I've never really had the NEED of a torque wrench before, though there have been times working on push bikes that I know I've muscled too much.

Thanks Arizoni for finding the proper piece at my favorite tool store!

Added the missing spoke to my rear wheel, centred it, went through all the spokes to ensure equal tension. Than I balanced the wheel too, it needed 30g. Now let's see when the next spoke snaps... ;D

Went for a long ride today, maybe the last for this season. Spokes are holding up so far.

We had a prominent guest.  :)

Mr. V has not been moved for 30 years, even the tires are 30 years old.

This Vincent was standing covered for 30 years in a garage, never touched, never ridden . The owner started it this year for the first time after all that years. Unbelievable...
