I think there will be a market for this bike in the US.  Everyone who wants to play it safe and just get out there without going 100 mph; and thats plenty of people.   Great starter bike for a woman and there are more female riders than ever these days.

My local dealer has some in; can't wait to sit on one when i take my INT650 in for it's 500 mile tune up!
Past Bikes: Ducati, Kawasaki's, Triumph's  Current: 2020 Royal Enfield INT650 Baker Express

The relatively new motorcycles that I see in the San Francisco Bay Area all seem to follow the same pattern: BMWs, KTM's an Ducatis. The more expensive the model the more popular they are. I hardly see anything under 800cc around here.  ???

That is very true. And many of the young men who live in the area like to flaunt their wealth by buying expensive vehicles.

Was at my dealer today on the INT650 (just happened to be along my ride.)  They said they would have them in late May; so i look forward to going and sitting on one and will take some pictures when i do.  They did have these nifty marketing cards in today.  Nothing you can't find online; but still fun and had to grab one.

wow, really surprised at that wet weight. Something deliberate to keep it pinned to the ground, or a (home) marketing ploy where more is more?

The whole machine is about the same as the Bullet it replaced, power & weight wise. Stroke is virtually the same. Wouldn't be a great surprise if the engine gained a bigger piston, different counterbalancer & became a 500. Seems to be the historical game plan. People want tradition, so lots of metal parts instead of plastic. It adds up.
A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

Cycle News devoted two articles to the Meteor in this weeks edition, both were very complimentary. Nice to see a credible presence taking the bike seriously.  ;)
