For those looking for some better foot and ankle protection, while shopping for some new boots last week I found a real bargain, surprisingly good quality boots.
I didn't buy these as I went up to slightly higher boots, the Reax Taskers, but these were really nice and quite comfortable, with good ankle, toe and heel reinforcements. I have been wearing Carolina Logger boots for the past 3 years, and they look great and are nice boots, but in my deer encounter my ankle came out poorly. I also tried on a couple of TCX boots in case anyone is interested. Just let me know.
