That’s good news after all that time. My issue had effectively been ignored  until I discovered a contact point direct to the new RE importer. Within one hour of contact I was called by the dealer and arrangements made to look at my bike. It is apparent, from what the dealer told me, that RE are going to get a grip and act accordingly to support the brand.
Yes - my original rogue dealer claimed the parts for my warranty claim had been ordered, but I had learned to take anything they said with a (very large) pinch of salt.  ::) In post-Moto GB times when I explained the situation to my new dealer they were very helpful although it took a few months for the reordered parts to come through. Everything now fixed to my satisfaction.  :)

Eddys Moto ,Tadcaster , North Yorkshire, have a shop full of all the different models of Royal Enfield . Packed a lot closer together than the shop shown there though.
ps never ride a motorcycle with exposed bare skin like he was doing in the video !
