Hi All, I have recently purchased a 1990 350 Bullet and it has a number of small grease nipples on it. To small to take my grease gun which has a flexible rubber end on it terminated in a standard grease nipple socket. By standard I mean the ones you get on old MG and triumph cars. Do I need to go and buy a new grease gun with a ridgid end the pump action type that doesn't grip onto the grease nipple with fingers but just sits on it. Or can you swap them out for larger ones or buy some kind of adaptor ? cheers Ben

I don't know what you have on your bike, but a bicycle shop can sell you a mini-grease-gun that threads onto tubes of lithium grease, etc, also sold at a bicycle shop. The gun fits the small grease zerks used on some full-suspension bikes.
If that helps...

Both grease couplers and grease zirks are wear items and cheap as chips to change when either leaks.
