well yes...and no....
With the bike running at some cruise RPM say 4000...the voltmeter needs to read about 14 volts, not 12.5.
A fully charged led acid battery should read about 13 volts with no load.
With load, and alternator doing it's thing, you need at least 13.8 volts in order to replenish the battery....these are actually 14 volt systems, not 12 volt as is commonly stated...
12.5 volts represents a "depleted" battery...
it is about 1/2 "used up"...not good for lead acid battery to go lower than this...lead acid is made for short jolt of power for starting, followed by immediate recharge.
Battery at 11.5 volts is undergoing internal damage.

so in the absence of knowing exactly you can install a voltmeter and while using accessories see that you are putting out enough to charge the battery at least at cruise rpm. around 12.5 volts.
