You certainly are keeping the RE painters busy, Bill.    And they all look good to me.  I would hate to have to choose one model over another in that collection.

well they all had different characters. number 1 or my first bike was by far the very worst. I had handling problems right from the very start and the worst vibration than in any other bike.
it vibrated that bad after 15 miles I had to get off and answer my hands as they were ringing that bad
amongst them there were 3 really good bikes. the tan c5- the b5 and the lagoon blue. the tan one I put the most klm on and I think I did roughly 10,000 klm and all 3 had very very little vibration.
two units actually shit themselves during faster than normal run -in periods. rider error or just plain carelessness there.
Pegasus is on a slow run-in and only done say 80 miles so can't comment on it.
what I have found is the later the year model ...the better the bikes. not so much to look at as very little had changed apart from front wheel- offside front forks gone and very early no kicker.
so not much visually but far better in the wiring like the under rear guard area - ecu box- headlight cavity and under the fuel tank.
i'd say from 2016 they started nailing it. plus I think what you buy now is even better in some areas.
not perfect though. I am having a bit of trouble with the indicator cancel switch and at times have to press it several times before it cancels.
might look at it later when the wife is not about if she she's me pulling stuff off ...I will get the smart comment- selling it are ya

Beautiful! I like em all. I had never seen a white one and that is quite sharp. I have the chrome/marroon model and do tend to favor the chrome ones. Interesting how the character of the bike changes so much just from changing the colors and adding accessories. Hope the new one is a good one.

Yeah, that's what puzzles me. One might have thought he'd have given a nice old "iron belly" a whirl by now. Guess Wildy just likes that "new bike smell". Still, though he may be a baker's dozen into it, at least he'll soon be emerging from that deep UCE rut with one of those spanking new twins, and for that I rather envy him.

I have to say that I haven't had a single problem with my early 2011-build California-model black B5. It runs and handles well , vibration is minimal, nothing has had to be replaced (other than the battery, its wiring, the side-stand switch and of course the muffler) and not a single bolt has needed to be tightened during the past four years. One thing that I just noticed is that the recommended tire pressures stamped on the down-tube plate is 24 psi for the front tire and 32 psi for the rear tire, which is what I am using anyway. Slightly different than what the owner's manual says to use. 

I guess whomever assembled my bike knew what he was doing. Weren't the 2011 models built at the old crummy factory before they moved into the fancy new digs and hired the paint shop robot?
