If I were to change my silencers on the Interceptor can I replace the cover and cover up the join from down pipe to silencer and still have the option to put back to standard without damaging the original set up.

Few aftermarket silencers cover that joint.  S&S and PowerAge silencers do.

I'm wrestling with that, myself. I'm hoping that I can replicate a "receiver" that tab with a SS clamp which will be hidden by the cover. It will be weeks before I get to it so if anyone does it, I hope they will share.

I was looking at the Moto Wings also. They look good. They are getting me a price to ship to the US.

I checked the shipping cost to central Ohio. It is 2000 rupees or $27.
About $246-$250 for everything.

Yes...that is them.  You will notice that they are kicked down a touch ...not like the other makes of slip ons available in India. Also gives a little extra room for saddlebags
if needed.  They throw out a terrific bassy note at idle and on the moove. They are well made and you wont be dissapointed.

Another exhaust that includes an integral cover and sounds very nice from Zard https://shop.officineitalianezard.it/en/royal-enfield-continental-gt-exhaust-2/.
They're polished stainless and to my eye match the style of the Interceptor very well, much lighter than stock too.

Previous bikes: FS1E, TS185, KH250, RD250D, CB400N, RD350LC, GSF600 Bandit, CB900F, FZR1000.

Hi mikey82,

If you look for a throaty sound you may consider this muffler.

Short Reverse Cone Silencers, suits Royal Enfield Interceptor 650cc PAIR

https://www.ebay.com/itm/392702907163

Its a norton peashooter style muffler, I put on to my GT650 love and the sound 😉.

Here is the fly-by sound to give you the ideas how its goes.

https://youtu.be/eieTaP5_abY

Ps. Its doesn’t equip with heat shield and the OEM cover wont fit to this muffler but in overall its look nice with much more weight reduced as compare to OEM muffler.

Those are nice looking mufflers. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/131850701391
These are the ones I chose.
I packed them a little more to reduce the volume,(which I’m reconsidering now) but they’ve got a nice bark to them.

I got these from Norman Hyde in the UK. They look and sound great, and also have a cover plate for the joint. With shipping they were 300 some odd dollars.

Hi JP33090,

Yeah its similar muffler I believe but norman hyde adding the heat shield (built in with reducer pipe). Its also similar with Moto Torque Can (MTC) UK as well 😉.

As the heat shield was also act like baffle I supposed its bit less louder now, do you have any fly-by or onboard video?

The saddlebag is from a company called iron and resin. I believe it retails for about $170 usd. I would have preferred black which they do carry, but I got a good deal on this one through eBay. It’s kind of a pain to fit on the bike the first time with the assortment of straps, but after that you just use a D ring system to put it on and take it off.

Bought some PowerAge slip-ons at your recommendation. Had to go through flea-bay as Flybhp weren't communicating (I suspect that little thing called a pandemic is having a huge effect, many returning Indian nationals are testing positive at our border).  They weren't cheap, but that's to be expected

Anyone have any idea of the easiest way to upload a video on this forum?

I love my PowerAge silencers.  Look good, lighter than stock, cover that joint very nicely, and I love the note with the baffle removed, not too loud, not too quiet, nice bass rumble.

Yeah I posted the eBay link earlier. Mine are nice and not crappy Chinese units. I’ve got them a bit over baffled at present but There’s a baffle insert that’s removable and re- wrappable and I’ve got a baffle tube wrapped( to stop it from rattling ) slid up the baffle insert to hush her up a bit. But , jeez, does it ever sound good with the baffles out completely and the reverse caps back on!. I’m toying with the idea as we commune to empty the muffler completely to see how she sounds/ goes.😃
