Title: Bullet lamp identification
Post by: Simon Taylor on August 01, 2014, 02:03:43 am

Scaly’s guide #1 - Bullet lamp identification.

Most web sites now use a standard coding for lamps (bulbs)

For a Bullet these are (usually):-

BA7s - Speedo Illumination and Ammeter lamps
BA9s - The tell-tale lamps in the speedo (indicator, high beam, neutral). Also the 'Tiger's Eye' pilot lamps.
BA15s - Indicator or trafficator bulbs. These need to be bi-directional if LED.
1157 - The stop/tail lamp.

The headlamp bulb will depend on the unit fitted.
