I like this. Seems too expensive to me though. If it was all original, maybe. But perhaps I'm wrong... What do you guys think of the price?

I'd say very high for the condition. Add a grand and I'll sell this one. ERC

What's so great about these old vintage bikes? They are pretty expensive here too. Also, one of the fastest Enfields in India are the older ones, like the G2 ones.

People are more impressed by keeping an old bike on the road. Plus in CA, you have more freedom with vintage vehicles. Law exemptions, cheaper registration, easier to maintain / less complicated due to lack of smog restrictions.

I'd offer the guy somewhere between $3500-$4500. It is a cool bike and if everything is functional and ready to ride it's got to be worth at least a few grand. But I don't know about $6500.....

Sounds more reasonable. I love the style, but it's not in the greatest shape. Looks like quite a bit of rust on the engine. No mention of whether it runs or not. No primary cover? ...or is it one of those open-style primaries? Looks like not much beyond the frame and engine is from a '46.

After further review: That header pipe has got to be obnoxiously loud! Not to mention sometimes running a pipe that short in length can be damaging to the exhaust valves. Not sure if that is the case on old Enfields though.

I noticed that too. Pipe is fairly discolored though, so perhaps they've run it like that for a while with no damage. It looks like it flows right out onto your foot though!

Being non-op, not particularly original, primary out in the muck, probably doesn't run, in generally crappy condition, way too much money.
looks more like a thou or so at the most. This thing is going to require compete refurbing
