Starting to get the parts in

Pictures show the big big kit.  Liners the pistons copper head gasket and the air filter
I also have the cam and other small assorted items

The new cyl head is on its way.  I will be doing some chamber work that will include welding to get around 12:1 compression.
The heads will be fully ported also

I also have two tbody manifolds that I will port

Sorry if you have already answered this but how will you adjust the fuel/air mixture to compensate for the added flow?

Ordered my clutch kit today along with the power commander

The cyl head is on its way along with the cyl jugs.

I figured I’d start with new parts and have extra stuff laying around I can then sell off to anyone interested in doing these type of mods

As a side note I found a set of 36 and 40mm throttle bodies.  Built for the enfield s.  Sold by revelry cycle in Australia

It appears that we’re on a very similar journey.

Will be interesting to see how they both end up.

I have now ridden an 865 with ported head, S&S cam, and bigger throttle bodies. One word: WOW!

Sworn to secrecy regarding details.

But ...

The S&S Cycle 865cc kit, camshaft and other secret stuff combine to make an Interceptor that wheelstands off the throttle!
