Title: New Military Model
Post by: Snakebite on July 10, 2009, 02:54:28 pm
I've been waiting for the UCE Military to come out.  Looks like they dropped the
metal panniers and crash bars.  Will those items me available as options?

crash bars yes, metal panniers no, though they do have those nice tan leather bags...

Crash bars and pannier racks are probably available... most likely chromed, but olive drab paint is cheap...

Any change in the status of the metal panniers and painted crash bars for the UCE military model?  I agree that the tan leather bags would looks great but I would like the metal ones if possible. Guess I could rig up some ammo cans. I need a military RE  to escort my jeep. ;D

Scooter bob has worked up metal panniers and racks to fit the C5.

I have a 2009 G5.  See picture here.  http://www.enfieldmotorcycles.com/forum/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=2999

Did come with crash bar, black bags, black solo seat, black luggage rack.  I removed black luggage rack and installed pillion seat.  I removed saddle bags and replaced them with ammocans in home made steel baskets.

The "accesorie" was supposed to be around $800 dollars.  My dealer reduced it somewhat probably in order to move a bike that had been replaced.

Sweet ride, Ragmas.  What calibre of ammo came in those cans?  I thought about going the ammo can route, but all I can find is .30 cal cans locally - kinda small.

This is the guy I ordered them from.

They are in fact night vision monocular cases that are foam padded.

Mine are mounted to the saddle bag brackets in baskets that I welded up myself.
