SHHH .....  its a secret.

I just received a "New Year" gift that I'm planning to give B5 at the end of the month.....

Well, Gremlin, if it gives you anything even close to the performance of the "Keltic Kruiser", grin and hang on...

Thanks to Wildbills tacho recommendtion, found that I could get to 60mph in 4th at around 4500rpm give or take a couple of hundred rpm.

Also what I thought were too high rpms in lower gears were not so adjusted city riding style.

I think I've been mollycuddling her too much.

Installed K-70's front and rear.  Looking good -- Going for the test ride now -- Had the devils own time with the front axle spacers, finally gave up and shimmed the speedo side with washers.  Next time pictures before taking apart. Four hour ordeal to get it to work. Anyone with pictures to send would be appreciated.  This is a 2013 C5 with the straight forks and 19 inch wheel.

Interested to hear your thoughts - especially in comparison to the stock Avons - which have done really well to last me 35,000km of freeway riding.
My 2013 C5 is getting new K70s (3.25/19 fnt and 4.00/18 rear) tomorrow and I guess I'll find out soon enough..but it'd be good to know in advance!

After about two weeks of down pouring rain, it cleared up today so I took my C5 with new panniers out for a ride while wearing my new helmet.  I really enjoyed it a lot.  The temperature became increasingly brisk as it got dark and I was quite chilled by the time I got home.  Next ride, I'll be wearing a sweatshirt under my coat.

Magoo --Went for short ride and love the K70's--Very different feel than the Avons --  Better control when cornering and lighter steering. Still experiencing problems from the front axle spacing.  Take pictures when you take it off.  More info as the tires get worn in a bit.

As Scotty Brown says - better handling, great looks... and they'll last half as long.  Good thing they're (relatively) cheap...

The rain has been dumping down in buckets here.

I went out to my shed and stared in awe at at Garudas' magnificence.
