Are the 650 engine casings clear coated? I've seen people polishing their engine casings, but if their are clear coated wouldn't that strip the clear coat?

Bare metal. No clear coat so have at it. Fillingham has a youtube about sanding and polishing to get a mirror finish.

No coating on mine, only had a few tram lines to polish out.
