So I was informed just a few minutes ago that my Dr Mayhem GT is still on back order (as well as some other paint schemes)

meaning it's not in the shipment heading for Vegas, that it's not likely even built yet and that it'll probably be a 2020 model when I eventually do get it.

I was told not to worry about any potential price increase though. It'll be a year this November they've had my deposit 

Wondering if anyone else has heard such nonsense?

You know, I didn't ask, but I will later this morning when I talk with my salesperson. I'll be telling him that I'll take any one color INT from the arriving shipment

First choice Black, then Silver. Actually I'll take anything for 5799$. If I can get a Black one I'll probably put a plate on it and ride it a bit,

otherwise tearing it down to begin the project  Really only wanted the bike for it's motor anyway, plus I'll have an extra 450$ to work with then

Nearly as bad in the U.K. Order placed ,deposit paid for a Silver Interceptor 1st week in July,keep getting told it will be the end of the month......but which month? ?

Ordered mine in Silver two weeks ago . Picked it up yesterday . In South Australia .

I may change my mind yet again and hold out for the GT 

I learned early on in life that the vast majority of people come in one of only three flavors, dishonest,
incompetent or a combination of the two, so I don't usually get my hopes too high dealing with them.
Hell, a lot of them even aspire to incompetence because that way they get others to do their work and
take the fall for them when things go south (ring any bells?)

That first shipment of bikes to leave Milwaukee included every color and some Dr Mayhem GT's were shipped to
dealers who didn't even request them. There's one in Scottsdale AZ right now from the first shipment but they want 9,128$ OTD for it, LoL

Also, a week or two before that first shipment I was notified that RE would be sending bikes to dealers who had deposits on them first!
Then it didn't arrive.

Three weeks ago I was told my GT was in this shipment. Two days ago I was told it really wasn't. I rest my case

Obviously somebody's somewhere don't have their act together! So who actually knows how many Dr Mayhem GT bikes were shipped this time also

update: Scottsdale came way down on the GT, in fact 200$ less than Vegas to cover my costs getting over there and back.

First time I've bought a bike from a girl   Deal is done and it's off the floor waiting for me to pick it up

And just as well I didn't wait to see what Euro Cycle would get in because none were single color INTs, not counting the Chrome one

Glad to hear you finally sorted one out to enjoy. That said, it may not have been entirely loathsome to get the 2nd year's model with whatever improvements or corrections were determined necessary by those early adopters in the field. Still, that's what warranties are for, Eh? Enjoy!

Ta Dah----- fly screen fitted today.I'm pleased with the result.
As some of you know I'm from the U.K. Living on the Kent & Sussex border( bottom right hand corner of U.K.when looking on the map) good motor biking territory if you keep off the main roads.
Yesterday was the 1st proper rideout to meet up with an old friend for coffee down by the coast in Bexhill and ride home keeping the sea on my right hand side as far as Rye then head inland.
The Interceptor was well received by every one who saw it including a guy on a Triumph Bonneville who plulled up along side at a set of lights and exclaimed WOW!
Then only slight criticism i have of the bike so far is that the front pegs are "non locking" and spring loaded towards the downward position.
This makes it very awkward if you have to move backwards when manovering the bike into a parking space as they catch your calf muscles. The passenger ones lock in the up position but aren't interchangeable.
