Hi all my  name is Dewight and live in Mt. Eden Ky, have a 2005 Suzuki Burgman 400 and  a 2003 Suzuki savage 650. I really want a RE bullet  but being retired and on a fixed income it may be a while ride safe   after while  Dewight

Hello Dewight - you seem to know which bikes/scooters to choose.  There are at least a couple Savage owners who contribute, and some scooter nuts as well.  My own impression is that the R E is a good choice to because it gives a balance between tinkering and riding, both of which are great.  Hope you enjoy the forum as much as we do.

All the best,

Larry

Dewight. Welcome aboard.
Retired sounds good as it would give you time to play, adjust, get used to your Bullet and as parts are relatively cheap (certainly are compared with Japanese machinery) then that'd help the fixed income bit.
Also retired means you can ride when YOU want; not when your work is finished (is it ever) when you're employed etc.  ;D

Welcome Dewight.

This is a very good place to hang out even if you don't have a Bullet right now.

Good choice in Suzukis.  The Burgman is a great scooter.  For people who like maxi-scooters, it's one of the best.  I don't know about the Savage.  It's a thumper so it must be fun to ride.

Welcome,
Fred
