Title: Does the 1969 500cc have roller bearings around the piston?
Post by: SteveRude on May 12, 2010, 12:42:00 am
I put in slick 50 synthetic oil into the engine, and apparently if the bearing will not spin because this oil is too slick. It will flatten out the bearing.

Are there roller bearings in this 500 cc design in the 1969 models?

Please get back immediately
thank you
Steven

Oh NOES! It's the old Harley-Davis "bearing skate" yarn - attacking an Enfield this time! When will they ever learn! "That oils' too SLICK for a Enfield, sonny .... it'll skate them berrin's and hit'll BLO-O-O-O-O-OW clean up ....."

I do believe I smell the gentle scent of male bovine fecal excretions .......

Hard to say, since there are no 1969 500cc Bullets.
