Hi.. i fitted the Fuelx pro today which i bought from hitchcocks. It appears to work but my question is about the handle bar button. When i press it, it doesnt light up. When it eventually lights up after a couple of presses it then skips through the maps obviously also counting the presses when it wasnt lit up… missing the map i wanted. When it does flash its matching the lights on the box, should it work instantly or does it have some sort of waking up to do, as i thought it could be used on the move and it would work as soon as you press the up or down button… everything is connected correctly.

I assume you are pushing the button while the bike is running.
Mine is more or less immediate.

Yep im pushing it when its running.. when it does work it finishes with one long flash and switch goes off … i then leave it running snd try change the map… press the switch and nothing… press it again and nothing .. then it lights up i choose my map number and it goes 2 passed it as its counted the 2 presses when there was no light on.

Quick update… i removed the fuelx and refitted it … it now works as it should, can only think it was a bad connection as all the plugs were clicked into place. First impressions are good, its cured the random stalling issues and the bike responds and seems to run nicer. We will see if that is still true in a month or 2.
