Title: Ride to Mount St Helens National Volcanic Monument
Post by: Bill Harris on August 22, 2016, 07:08:00 am
Sunday August 21, 2016 some of us South Siders rode to Mount St Helens.  Round trip 280 miles on scenic little back roads from the town of Yelm to Mount St Helens and back.  A very nice days ride with good friends and great weather there and back.  :)

Trying to imagine the amount of power it took to blow that entire upper section of the mountain away boggles the mind!!!

It makes mans attempts at creating forces of mass destruction look pretty puny.

I guess that's why they say, "Don't piss off Mother Nature."  8)
