Moly & graphite friction modifiers are generally a bad idea for wet plate clutches. The molybdenum or graphite coats the clutch plates, maybe even creating unwanted slippage.
Multigrades are great. A 10W40 weight is fine in cool weather. The lower multigrade number is the equivalent straight weight thickness at the low temp standard test point. The higher number is the equivalent straight weight thinness at the high temp standard test point. Unless you ride in cold weather, a 15W50 or 20W50 works fine year round. Castrol makes a 5W50, ideal for air cooled engines subject to actual cold weather starting (20-30F).
