At the risk of cooling the ardor of newcomers to this Forum and making even more work for our superb admins, could we please set up the Forum such that newbies' postings have to be approved by someone prior to posting, and only after 10 or so approved postings will they be allowed to "free range"?

There used to be one of those reCAPTCHA or similar trippy letters challenges followed by a wacky ornithological quiz for new users to be able to post. Is that still in place? If not, perhaps we should also bring it or something similar back to slow down the bots and cretins ruining this Forum.

Getting all "fisty"

Congrats on your new position.

I haven't seen a single spammer post since you got deputized.  Good shooting!

Can't take credit for that. I haven't done a damned thing yet. I think Dantheman may have caught one though before I'd even seen it.

I moderate a BMW motorcycle forum and the spammers seem to be taking a vacation this month.  :)  However, last in June they were a lot more active.  >:(  June bugs?  ;)
