Fitted a Hitchcocks luggage rack.
Never underestimate the value of improved combustion efficiency and reducing parasitic engine and rolling chassis losses.

Liking that key Malky. Great job.

@ portisheadric

I have the (I believe) the same rack. Handy, but for me it ruins the look. Practicality wins though.

Bought it.  Actually that was yesterday.  My wife, two dogs and I took a 14 hour/700 mile roundtrip to pick up a maroon 2009 C5 from the original owner.  6319 miles on the clock.  Today I start work on a whole new learning curve.

I'm of the same opinion and I know it'll look even worse when there's a 47 litre top box on it for a small trip I have planned in a few weeks time...

Got my ACE air filter. Now I'm sitting here making plans to do the install. I have to go into work in a few so tonight's out.

I did ride it about 100 miles yesterday and ended up sitting in a bank drive through waiting on the rain to blow by. I and another guy sat there about 30 minuets before it passed.

Installed my new chain today while at work. Lubricated the hell out of it after I got home. I could really tell the difference with the new chain. Also, one of the mounting screws for my license plate came off, so I had to re-mount it. All of my big problem issues should now be resolved for another 8000 miles.

Good luck, the learning curve is not too steep. Keep an eye on everything, don't worry too much about the negatives, some of us actually have bikes that don't give any trouble. :)

Yesterday, I got my cylinder and piston from SB.  He even ships fast.

Saturday I ordered a brass "Holy Om" key blank from India for the Hindu Hot Rod.  I just couldn't resist!

My most memorable motorcycle was my Panther 120, it's the bike I kept the longest and covered the most miles on, and got the most enjoyment out of owning, looks like my Enfield is getting closer to taking its place. The Panther earned the nickname "the sphinx" looks like MK2 is on its way. It most definitely will be a keeper. 8)

About the only time I have a problem with kick starting is on a cold morning or when people are standing around watching me do it.
A few girls present in the crowd almost always makes the first and second attempt fail.

The second part is HEADing west in the morning, for some further ScooterBob  enhancements.   Please mind your rear wheel spokes when completed .  ;)  Hehehehe !  8)

Going west = getting closer...

Soon I could compete in the local tractor pull, or take up weekend stump pulling for extra cash!
