Hi,
I have added a UNI foam filter (51MM Id 152MM long) and increased the height of the needle by adding a spacer of less than 1 mm thick.

Bike is performing great in Initial and the mid range, however at top end I see some resistance.
Do I need to upsize the jets?
I am using BS33 CV carb.

Regards
Mandar

Last night, on the way home, I discovered that my front tire was going flat. I found out that the valve stem is broken. I will have the tube replaced tonight and will be back on the road tomorrow.

Things didn't go exactly as planned. I wound up taking the wheel to a local guy and had him replace the tube. I'm glad I did. He found a sliver of metal inside the tire that I had picked up somewhere. That sliver of metal had chewed up part of the tube and caused it to leak.

Got it out the garage to access the Cub.  Must say i still love the Enfield look :)

Won't be using it this w/e cos there is a Honda C90 (Cub) meeting on here in the UK and i'm off to that. First camping this year and i really looking forward to it.  Will be a 500 mile plus w/e so i hope the little bike will prove as reliable as ever  ;)

 :o  ;D

You missed an empty spot over that front wheel - wait, is that for stacking firewood on when you get near the campsite?

It's not really that loaded 'cos there are things like a full pillow in the yellow bag and the front panniers only have a single welly in each.
Any more weight on the front and the handling gets horrible.  The top box is all but empty, just used for stuff i need on the ride.
It's all about "mass centralisation" seen it on the GP bikes so i know it's good  ;)

Fitted another Avon AM26 Roadrider 100/90-19 on the rear wheel.
10" tyre irons and a tubeless tyre makes for an interesting afternoon.
Fortunately it seated perfectly first attempt :)

Sun out, went for a 20 mile blast for an ice cream.

Not quite summer riding gear though, felt every vibe through the summer gloves and set off the Reynauds :(

Nice ice cream though, even they have gone up in price .. £2.10 for a '99!

That's a cone with a chocolate flake in it for non UK forumites.

I remember waiting for the ice cream van to drive down the road on a Saturday to buy a Saucy Tanner  - which not surprisingly cost 6d.
My guess is that inflation ensured it only had a short production run!
