As the legend says Mjölnir is so mighty and powerfull that not even Thor can handle it without his Járngreipr. Should be included in the shopping list.. ;)

I think it says Járngreipr on the side of Gremlin's luggage crate...

I thought that was a box of beer  ;) maybe a reminiscences of Útgarda-Loki...no, no you can't drink a whole ocean of it.

Well, I ran out of gas today. That's twice in 8000 miles so not too bad.  Guess speeding down the Freeway takes more gas than poking along the back roads, and the new K70's seem to change the odometer a bit. In any event I will be  monitoring my mileage a bit more closely.  No damage to the fuel pump as I quit when it did.

Took my Bullet out for a spin as we are having unusually warm weather for the time of year.
Before I rode off into the sunrise I first had to free off the front brake. A few taps with a rubber mallet eased the pads back enough into the calliper to allow the wheel to spin, but on applying the brake it just stuck again.
I removed the calliper and used some brake cleaner and an old tooth brush to clean out around the pistons and brake pads, expecting to find the pistons corroded after 2 winters on the road, I was pleased to find underneath the caked on brake dust, the pistons looked as good as new.
Spent the day out and about, cruising some pleasant back roads with a little blast up to 80mph on some faster stretches. Home in time for tea and cakes at sunset :-).

Well a minor setback today --The ears that hold down the rear of the tank vibrated completely apart--Both sides -- I call this a nigley ! -- Took tank off, removed all gas, fuel pump, removed the gasoline sensor gauge and found out why it hasn't worked since the first week.  Prepped the the tank for welding next week.  Bike still in warranty, but why bother.  This is a simple repair and will be stronger as the result.  Still love my Enfield~!

Yesterday, I lubricated my clutch cable.

Today, I rode in to work. Temps were right at the freezing mark.

Rode the sammich makers G5 instead of my Iron Barrel to town and back.

Bears REpeating, you lucky UCE owners do have the better Bullets.

I'm sure it's subjective, but I am very happy with my 2015 UCE.

It was by divine providence that I was fortunate enough to own it, and I treasure it as such.

Is there snow on your roads Krimp?  Do you have studed tires?  Sounds scary and fun!

No snow on the roads. No studded tires. It isn't scary at all because I use the following criteria for riding in the winter: If there is moisture on the roads and the temps are at or below freezing, I won't ride.

Retrieved my welded tank for installation.  The rear tabs vibrated enough to break off from the tank.  Had them re-welded and now should be stronger.  Tank was filled with water to avoid a fire or explosion.  Now drying out with the help of a heat gun and air blower.  A little elbow grease and $20.00 and all better ~!

I left frankenbullet languishing in the garage whilst taking the klr on the I-80 commute. I did apologize, and plan a lengthy putt up around napa to make up for the willful neglect.

Lubed the de compressor cable, spiffed up the head lamp connectors wiped it down here and there.
