I've taken a few short trips with it since the bar flip, and it's not too bad. First was just 50+ miles, then 125+ or so. The faster you go the easier it is on you since you sort of float a bit with the wind lift. It'll be better with the rearsets installed. I was debating drag bars and clubman bars, but I think i'm just going to stick with these.

Repaired my clutch so it no longer slips.  Changed the oil and adjusted the push rods.   Compression went up as the intake rod was a bit tight.  Promptly developed a leak in the head gasket.  Its time to torque the head anyway so hopefully that will fix it.

They have a small loop on the back, center top. I have that thru the sissy bar on the rear seat. I also made small straps for the front, to wrap around the shock tower mounts. I made them out of the bags orignal shoulder straps.

What bars are those. Did the length of the cables pose any issues....??

Yeah, there where a few BMW riders that just laid them on the ground when they parked. The adventure bike guys I guess, to each his own. There was one further up the street that looked like it had rolled down an entire mountain, lol.

Suffering from low will power today I took the 95 to work.  I should wait and ride the another bike until I can make the time and retorque the head to stop the weaping but have missed riding the thing.

Now that the clutch is sorted out properly I find the bike to be nearly ignorant fast for a machine with drum brakes.   Running a 4spd box w 18t countershaft I hardly ever get out of 3rd gear as the max speed limit on my commute is 35 and the shift point feels at about 50-55 to me.  OOoooo,  can't wait to ride home after work.
