As many of you are aware, our current Forum hosts Hitchcocks, who took over the care and maintenance of this Forum a few years back from the former North American Royal Enfield offical importers Classic Motorworks, had also run their own Forum for a couple of decades over at https://messageboard.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/.

As described in a farewell message here, that Forum has now been closed to new users and further postings, so we're welcoming quite a few new "refugees" from yonder here. So, a hearty welcome to them! We hope you'll enjoy some of the spiffier features of your new home here. Please feel free to offer any suggestions for improvements you may have in this "Forum Improvements" section.

Although the old Forum has been decommissioned, rest assured that it will remain in place as a searchable knowledge base, since it contains such a wealth of useful information. I recently promised to reach out to the Forums' Admins to ask about the future of all that worthwhile data from the old Forum, and here's their response:

"We are very aware not to just wipe out all of the information held on the original forum as its a great resource to RE owners.

The plan is to just lock the old forum to prevent any new posts or new users signing up (spam postings/users have been a massive issue for a while over there), and to keep the actual forum in place with all the posts as an archive for anyone wanting to search back for useful information (as well as appearing in Google searches). We have enquired about trying to merge this into the present forum, but it seems unlikely that this is going to be a feasible option."
So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.
