It was overcast this morning, a break from the heat. Went to fuel up at the Mono Wind Casino, took a short exploration out Jose Basin Road & back, then chuffed up Auberry Road along the spine of the mountain to Cressman and down Tollhouse Grade & home, maybe 30 miles altogether.

On the ridge I passed lots of dwellings still recovering from the 2020 380K acre Creek Fire. I snapped a panorama of the basin area and some poor souls track-hoe that got cooked. When fire comes, be ready... :o
A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

I always enjoy your ride reports and the pictures posted. I seem to average about the same mileage on my rides at right around 30 miles.

The track hoe, that makes me wonder if the fire fighters were cutting fire breaks when the fire caught up with them. What ever the case that's an expensive loss. You sure you can't drag that home and get it running again? ;)

Maybe some Liquid Wrench, a few cans of Rust-Oleum, who knows? But it'd look a lot better in New Mexico... ;D ;D ;D
