3 hours ago my best friend ken died on the way to the hospital after having been wiped out by some kid on a motorcycle in Thailand. Ken was on his Honda Phantom 200cc that he has had for 7 years. He was a bus driver from London and owned a Yamaha 1100 for many years until it was stolen from him . His riding and road positioning was perfect.
I have 4 bikes 1400 intruder, Royal Enfield 350, AJS CSR 250 and a shopping bike suzuki 110,----- all seam stupid right now.

My condolences on losing a friend in that way. I have lost 2 cousins and a lot of friends in bike accidents. I always remember they lost their lives doing the things they enjoyed. Makes it easier for me to get back on mine and go riding.
Will.

Speechless, and very sorry.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I've been told on occasion, He/she died doing what they loved, this is true and at times a measure of pain relief, but unfortunately the result is still the same.

Your evident frustration over your friend Ken's untimely death shows just how good a pal he was to you and likewise I'm sure of you to him. I can surely understand your pain Br. Clamp. One of the hardest things about living our lives is losing the one's closest to us.
A prayer is all I can offer. God bless Br. Clamp, Ken and his family, may your memories of your friendship together never fade.

Sorry Clamp, Don't know you but you are in my thoughts. I nearly died on my bike a month ago. I thought about quitting for awhile after that but I just love it too much. I wonder if your friend would have agreed? So very sorry..........Joe

Sorry to hear of you're personal loss. All unnecessary deaths are stupid.
Go have a good wake for Ken and toss a few pints down.
I'll down one for you both.

Sorry Clamp... Just keep moving forward, it's all any of us can do...
