Have you tried giving the bike a good vigorous shake to try and free a stuck float.
Just thinking aloud really.

The fuel gauge is very bad accurate..

Today with flashing on reserve.. I went to fill the tank only could put 8.5l above the metal sheet...

For. 13l capacity the reserve flashing with still 40%of gasoline...

Hello Ken, I had a Triumph Sprint a few years ago and the fuel gauge never quite knew what it was doing, so much so it became second nature using the trip meter as a guide on when to fill up. I assume the fuel level is monitored by a captive float {raises and lowers in a tube} in the tank, I sometimes wonder if E 10 fuel affects the
movement.

Agreed, that’s what I do on mine. The gauge tells me it’s nearly empty by flashing away when there’s four litres left in it, that’s another 80 to 90 miles. Tend not to fill up until it’s done 250 miles, always had a litre or more left (1/4 to 1/2 a uk gallon)

Hi, that’s normal.
According to the specs, there are 1,5 to 2l not usable and about 4l reserve.
They aren’t strangers, only friends you haven’t ever met.
