I make many parts for our REs.   I think it is bad manners to advertise on Hitchcock's Forum.

When my parts were ready for the public I asked Bilgemaster to contact Hichcock's for permission to

display them.   They answered promptly and said I could show them  But please sell them with private E-Mail.

I think that is more then FAIR..

Pete           PS    The fork brace for sale is a copy of mine   and yes it fits all the GT's 535&650

This fork brace is like a piece of jewellery for the GT from my perspective, there is not much doubt that it will satisfy the function and purpose it's been built for and many look-alikes may appear. The Thai are specialists on all this sort of items and some of them do look really nice.

A crank conversion kit like yours that has the potential to reduce the weight of the reciprocating masses and hence smoothing out the engine run, possibly allow for higher revs, reduce the stresses on the bearings requires much more detail discussion and "advertising" which I would happily follow up since there is some general concerns towards alloy conrods from my side when it comes to durability and rebuilding the whole engine is something i preferably don't want to do on my bike all too often.

So there can't be enough info about those interesting items you have made.

I'm as tolerant as a lot of folks, but 25+ posts, in 5 duplicate threads, to sell just two items, did seem to be taking advantage, glad you agree.  Thanks for your time.

Report button?  I had heard this mentioned previously, but I'm not seeing see this feature.

I see "Reply"   "Add Poll"    "Notify"   "Mark Unread"    "Send this topic"  &   "Print"

Are any of these this report feature, or is this located somewhere else?

If you're not Logged In you don't see it.

Thank you for the compliment.   My friends and I put a lot of thought into the design and manufacture of the parts

offered for sale.      Please read my e-bay ads for more info.   Any questions will be gladly answered.

As far as the rod..    I decided on the material after a discussion with Fred Carrillo.  The highest quality

aircraft aluminum (made in US) is used with Crower bushing and German race.   I tried to break them for one

season without any luck..   They are not made for racing or extreme RPM.   They would probably take it.

The idea is to take away unneeded weight, ad length and allow the use of a more advanced forged piston (lighter)

with a modern low tension ring package.

Any other questions   please e-mail me    TRIENG1@aol.com
