Hey everyone. About 3 weeks ago I purchased a cafe fairing from MK Designs in India. I received my order confirmation and they certainly took my money, then nothing. Zippo. I have emailed them 3 times with no response and Facebooked them as well. Nothing. Has anyone heard anything about them that they care to share? I don’t know whether I’ve been scammed or if Covid has shut them down or what. I sure wish they would get their ducks in a row and communicate.

I always use Paypal in these situations.
When something goes wrong, Paypal refunds in most cases...

Yes true. Paypal have come through for me a few times for substantial sums when vendors have let me down.

Well. That must have done something because, magically, they shipped it sometime last night. I don’t know whether it was a coincidence or not but thanks anyway! Still no answers to my enquiries. Funny way to do business if you ask me but whatever. I’m looking forward to this little bit of icing on the cake, so to speak.

I've taken to always mentioning "I'm a member of an online GROUP of USA Royal Enfield riders", whenever I deal with India vendors now.

I figure it can't hurt.

It took about a month to receive my cafe fairing but I decided not to bug them because of their rise in Covid.

Amazingly I've bought around 4 or 5 separate items from India right in the worst of their Covid times and the shipping has been the quickest in my 16 years on ebay. 8-10 days on my doorstep, exceptional. Actually faster than national postage here is Australia in a lot of cases.

My thought too, since the site is hosted by a Brit motorcycle dealer, original home of the Royal Enfield brand.

Don't worry about it. It's a cultural thing. They don't even realise they do it. Take it as a compliment.

So the latest……..
Almost immediately after the “whatsup” email my fairing was consigned to Kamal Courier. It has sat there for 9 days waiting for I don’t know what. Sigh.
