Title: UCE Cams

I am visiting my cam grinder this summer.

I try to take as many UCE cams as possible, to weld and regrind.

I guess you're offering to bring sets from other forum members and have them given a longer duration grind along with the ones that you sell?

I would need to provide a 571164 intake and a 570309 exhaust cam?  Is welding up the auto-decomp trough included?  How much you think the service will cost?

Also, you mentioned the manifold you make, and I recall you discussing it with another member, but I'm having trouble finding the thread(s).  Can you direct me to that discussion, or talk more about what it is and what it does?  I see a picture here, (https://forum.classicmotorworks.com/index.php?topic=30348.msg359125#msg359125) but I recall more talk about it in another thread?

I was just looking for take offs .  I am tired of buying new from India.

I am surprised that the 500/535  UCE owners don't realize that their bikes come with 350 cams.

I include welding in my price. The cams are too hard to leave that trough open.

The Fin FI manifold is designed to create a vortex and activate the ethanol.  When used with reg. E-10 it

adds about 2 hp but it's the drive ability that I like..   Why spend $ on octane you don't need??

High octane fuel in a low compression engine overheats the poor quality exhaust valve and leads to failure.

Maybe Eicher Motors should pick up the tab?   Who would knowingly buy a 500/535 in America with 350 cams ?????

Who would knowingly buy a 500/535 with 350 cams.

Did they tell you when you bought your new bike ??

   REWARD $$    I need used UCE cam sets for regrinding.  So I can keep making US Spec. cams.

   I will pay or trade .    It's OK if you like 350 cams in a 500/535.   I would rather 500cc cams

   in a 500/535cc US road bike...

TP -- I've been looking for an explanation for my exhaust valve failure (it broke at the friction weld).  I thought perhaps I assembled the intake manifold insulator upside down when I installed your twin-fin intake (nope) or the fuel filter I added was clogged (nope) or the spark was weak (nope) or because the exhaust was wrapped (by previous owner, maybe).  But living in SoCal I had always used Premium fuel.  And it broke on a very hot day while I was in stop-and-go traffic.  Your explanation best fits my circumstances.  Thanks.

I'm collecting and organizing everything to reassemble my 500cc SB/GG engine.  I should have a set of stock cams as I don't remember disassembling the replacement crate engine.  If it turns out I do, I'll send them to you.

And I seem to have at least one extra throttle body.  Do you modify the throttle body?
