I noticed mention in a post below concerning converting to vintage controls of a quick action throttle. I certainly wish that mine were at least "quicker action" Who stocks such things?

Doesn't "quicker action" require another cylinder or at the least more HP? :D

:D Hope not! I couldn't handle it!

Back in the day, quick action throttle would take you from closed to full open in 1/4 to 1/3 turn. Much faster than the stock throttle. The downside is they are some what more difficult to precisely control.

Stateside we call them Quarter-turn throttles because they go from closed to fully open in 1/4 turn.
Back in the day, Tomaselli used to be a big name for 1/4 turn throttles (as well as for clip-ons). There are plenty of them still around, you just have to match them up for your application.

I've got one to go with my Mikuni 34mm Flatslide. I'll post how it works when I get it all back together.
