Title: Text size
Post by: Arizoni on August 18, 2017, 02:43:45 am
For reasons I haven't figured out, the forum seems to be making all of the posts lately about 6 points high.

This seems to be pre-set as I haven't done anything to change or adjust the text size when I create a post and I notice that everyone elses posts are also made using this tiny type.

Would it be possible for the keeper of the Forum to change the default value so we can all read the text easily?

Something like 14 points high is easy to read so I suggest using that size.

Even 12 point like this isn't too bad but the existing size is a bit of a problem for some of us.

Jim - on my screen, the text size hasn't changed and is easy to read as it is.  Your 14pt example, on my screen, is way too big for some of the longer posts, which would end up being many screen "pages."

My Firefox browser can zoom in and out, changing the size of everything, or just the text.

Are you sure something hasn't been done at your end to make the text so small?

Does using the Ctrl and + sign together do anything on your particular device?
CTRL and - to go back if it does and you don't like it.

It turns out that the text looks fine on my 16" ASUS laptop running Firefox but somehow the size on my old PC with a 21" monitor running Chrome is tiny.

I found the settings place in my Chrome and changed its text size so now everything looks fine.

Bottom line?  Forget about my suggestion.  8)
