Hello,
Anyone in the Portland Oregon or Vancouver Washington area up to riding with fellow Royal Enfield rider/riders? As you may know we have many fine roads just perfect for REs here in our area. :} If interested PM me and let’s meet up and go for a ride.

Anyone in Southwest Washington want to go for a Royal Enfield ride this coming Saturday the 12th? I’m thinking east from Vancouver, WA on HWY 14 to a left on HWY 141 to BZ Corner then right on to BZ Glenwood HWY to Glenwood. Then right onto Main St in Glenwood to Goldendale all the way to the Y at HWY 142 when we will take a right to Klickitat this we will take all the way to Lyle then a right onto HWY 14 all the way back to Vancouver. I call it the Glenwood Klickitat Canyon  loop. It’s about a 178 mile loop from Vancouver from what I remember.  I will probably be riding my Pegasus. Anyone want to
join me, PM or email me if interested.

Howdy

If you own that many RE's at one time you could go for a ride with yourself !

I live out on the coast but would unlikely ride all the way into PDX in order to ride back out to the country...

Hope to cross paths at some point nevertheless.

No worries David, I’ve been known to ride to the coast at times. Three weekends ago I rode my Himalayan to Long Beach, WA and back to visit a friend. Maybe we could meet somewhere in the middle and you could show me some of your favorite RE riding roads when the the smoke clears up in your state.

Anyone up for the Polar Bear run on the First of the NEW YEAR? It’s the best way to start the new year. I will riding my 2020 Trials and I think my buddy will be riding his Pegasus. Come join us in this 37 year tradition.

Well guys and gals one more year has passed and the 2022 Polar Bear Run is almost here once again. New Years Day at 10:00- 12:00 is the sign up. As always it’ll start at the Portland, OR Cycle Gear on Stark with free hot chili, donuts, coffee and all the great conversation with fellow riders.

You will have the choice of three self guided routes Papa Bear, Mama Bear, or the Baby Bear.

My buddy and I will be there on our Royal Enfields. Come join us, it’ll be a day to remember as always!

Well the Polar Bear run was another great ride this year. A bit nippy at 25 degrees, but dry and clear. The free hot coffee and tea helped. Sadly no hot chili this year do to COVID restrictions. ☹ I rode the Himmy, the only RE I have that has a windscreen and my buddy rode his Intercepter 650. It was fun as always seeing all the different kinds of bikes and chatting with the riders.

We did the shorter Baby Bear route this year, not wanting to run into black ice in the shaded corners. The ending, as always, was at Jimmy O's Pizzeria in Oregon City. It was nice the owner came over to thank us for coming as it’s been difficult the last two years for many of the mom and pop restaurants. Good food, good ride and great conversation.  I can’t think of a better way to start off a new year.

Sounded like a fun time - good write-up!
A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

When the weather gets nice again, hopefully be for the chip seal comes out. I’d like to do a trip around the Olympic Mountains. Starting around Olympia HWY 101 up to Port Townsend, Sequim, Hurricane Ridge, then just follow 101 around to Long Beach WA.

Also would like to do a ride to Dry Falls, Grand Coulee Damm, HWY 20, Cascade HWY. I’ve done these rides many times before but never get tired of the beauty.

Anyone that wants to come along on their RE is welcome. At this time I don’t know what I’ll be riding but it will be a RE for sure.
