Here at the shop, the first bike we prepped was the C5 Mil. It's been our designated demo and always drew attention. It sold this week with a couple hundred miles on it and the passenger seat to a very nice couple who LOVE it.
But, in our Central Cali. location, people have drooled over it but ended up buying the other colors.
Best selling C5 colors, in order, have been Blk, Teal, Maroon.
In G5, the Black has been the only color sold. Our G demo in BRG has almost 300 miles on it so if a person wanted a G5 BRG, you could save a few dollars by giving it a new home.
Model wise, the C5 has sold about 5 to 1 over the G5. Just misc. facts as I have the morning coffee and listen to the doves call to each other.
For me?
After I sell my CB900f and the old Yamahoo, it will be a Black G with C gearing and AM26 Avons.
Hmm. We ARE getting our G5 Deluxe in a couple weeks....better wait and see. Never know, I might be a chrome guy after all.

Ya the c5 definitely needs some other color options. I understand how the other colors are period or whatever, but its hard to lay down 8K on a color you dont love. I vote for dark gray with white accents..

The grey classic 350 looks amazing. They should make it an option for the 500 as well.

C5 chrome/maroon.

I'm astonished. I wanted the maroon, but I would have had to wait for the second shipment to get it - the first shipment was still a month away at the time - so I settled for the mil, the only ones out of the first lot not pre-sold.

Justin at the Portland shop is going to try to keep the black Deluxe as the demo bike. He loves that bike but it always sells immediately so he's trying to keep it around by making it the demo.
Yeah, I'd like to see some more C5 colors too. Two tones would be nice. Gray/white, teal/white, silver/black, maroon and black with gold striping.
