Okay so I checked the map, I put myself on it, but it seems to be fishy, not uploading my pic and in any case I bet there are some of us not on it.
So To get a better Idea of how to put together a ride, trip, or event etc...
Please place yourself on the map.
It would be awesome if we had near full participation in the map, that way, like I said trips could be much easier to coordinate.
Thanks All!

What map are you referring to?
-
Just found it. But it's blank for me. What am I missing?
-
Under "community" it'll be Visitor / Rider map. If its blank try another web browser like mozilla firefox, or google chrome, or apple safari...
sometimes IE (Internet Explorer) has issues. sometimes the others do that's why I use all of them sometimes.

I've added myself on that map more than once, but it seems to eventually disappear each time. I think it's kind of flaky.

Perhaps there is another way to make our own map... any ideas besides just looking through each members profile?

As I posted yesterday I thought if you put your location in your profile it would show up when you posted. It works on other boards. Our host could enable this I would think. Would not have to be a required field so if someone didn't want to reveal they wouldn't have to. If however your location appeared when you posted and someone was near you you could PM them and see if they wanted to get together. Could always say no. The thread about REA and getting together is all well and good but if you started with some person to person contact one at a time something might be more likely to grow from it.
Just my 2 pence.
